I’m very happy to announce that our next release (out in late spring) will be a new 12″ vinyl ep from the Italian artist (and the other half of Schoolmap Records) Giuseppe Ielasi. “Stunt” is an interesting stylistic departure from his previous works…….More details and samples to come soon. “Working in painting, drawing, and sculpture, Steven Claydon appropriates the styles and figures of history to draw provocative connotations between contemporary social concerns and obsolete ideologies. Primarily interested in the concept of veneration – both in the contexts in which past events are documented through modern museology, and in the physical forms by which they have been represented – Claydon exhumes the ‘veritas’ of artifacts, undermining their value and truth through his witty and complex material juxtapositions” (from the Saatchi gallery website).

Yes, we know, it took us two years to have a working website
(and we even changed address…our old www.schoolmap.org is dead).
We’re finally online, and we’ll be more and more present from now on.
We’re working on a lot of new releases, and we’ll slowly announce
our schedule on these pages. Many thanks for your patience and support !
